There comes a moment in every entrepreneur's journey when we realise that building a business isn't only about strategy, marketing or sales.
It's about who we become.
My own journey has taught me that our businesses are living extensions of who we are. They reflect our beliefs, our energy, our values and the way we choose to move through the world. When we create from fear, our businesses often mirror fear. When we create from trust, purpose and alignment, everything begins to shift.
For so many years, business has been built on outdated paradigms of competition, scarcity and the belief that success must come through struggle. We've been taught that there is never enough: not enough clients, not enough money, not enough opportunities.
But what if those old stories were never ours to carry in the first place?
To me, being a conscious creator means recognising that every decision I make is shaping not only my business, but my experience of life. It begins with becoming aware of the thoughts I repeat, the stories I believe and the energy I bring into every conversation, every offering and every opportunity….Authentically!
I've also learned that a thriving business begins with a thriving creator. When I choose to nurture my wellbeing and invest in ME, mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually, I create from clarity rather than survival. I make decisions from a place of wholeness instead of fear, and my business naturally becomes a reflection of that inner alignment.
One of the most powerful practices God guided me to at the very beginning of creating Ancient Magic was beautifully simple.
One morning, I felt prompted to take a gold marker and write on my bathroom mirror.
Not affirmations.
Not financial targets.
But my values, my virtues and the intentions I wanted my business to embody. Alongside those, I wrote my goals, not from a place of striving, but as an invitation to become the woman who could hold them.
Every morning while getting ready for the day, and every evening before winding down, I would stand in front of that mirror and slowly read each word.
At first, it felt like a playful game I had started with the Universe. A sacred little ritual that reminded me why I had said yes to this journey. But within a week, something extraordinary began to happen. My outer world started reflecting what was shifting within me.
Some people naturally drifted out of my life, while new clients, opportunities and friendships that felt deeply aligned began to arrive. The fear of wondering how Ancient Magic was ever going to succeed slowly dissolved.
In its place came something much quieter.
An unstoppable Trust as a constant, loving whisper that simply said...
Keep going.
Then one night, God gave me a dream that showed me what had been happening all along.
As I stood before my mirror, every word I had written in gold became a living emanation of light. Those words reflected back into me, filling my heart, my energy, my aura and every part of who I was.
I woke up understanding something I had only ever heard before.
As within, so without.
I wasn't simply reading words on a mirror. I was becoming them.
Each day I was aligning my thoughts, my choices and my energy with the woman I was choosing to be. I was becoming a vibrational match for the life and business I desired to create.
Three years later, I still have a version of that list.
Some of the words have changed because I have changed. My vision has expanded. My business has evolved. But the practice remains.
Every month I revisit my mirror. I tweak my values, refine my goals and listen for what God is showing me and what I am ready to embody next.
I still play with the Universe.
I still choose to walk my magic real.
Conscious creation isn't about controlling outcomes; it's a return to wonder in creation and showing yourself what is possible and how much you have grown.
When we consciously choose abundance over scarcity, collaboration over competition and purpose over pressure, we begin to build businesses that feel joyful, sustainable and deeply authentic.
We stop asking, "Will this work?" And begin asking,"Who am I becoming as I create it?"
I truly believe this is the future of business. One rooted in consciousness, wellbeing, collaboration and trust.
A way of creating where success is no longer measured only by what we achieve, but by how we feel, who we become and the lives we touch along the way.
When we change from within, everything around us begins to change too.
That, to me, is what it means to walk the magic real.
You are the magic. You always have been, and you always will be.
